August 25, 1931 — December 24, 2024

Jewel Dean Leslie Joined the land of promise December 24th, 2024. She was born August 25th, 1931, in Gonzales County Texas to Ura Jane and Frank Curtis Hasserodt. Gonzales was her home town, where she was raised by a large loving family, who taught her about Jesus.

Jewel met her true love in 1947, James Howard Leslie, who she married on May 29th, 1949.To this union they added 5 children. They had 56 years together. She served as a pastor's wife for 15 years. She continued to serve the Lord in ministry all of her life, even in her 90's she was still leading Bible studies in her home for friends and neighbors.

We, as her family, were the benefactors of her prayers and intercession. She faithfully sent birthday cards to every member of her family, that's a lot, because there are over 50 of us.  Jewel leaves us a legacy of faith, and the love of family, She will be greatly missed and always remembered.
