Jeffry Douglas Gerbaz

Jeffry Douglas Gerbaz, 63, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on July 1, 2025, surrounded by his family and friends.

Jeff was born on December 19, 1961 in Aspen, Colorado, to Jerry and Judy Gerbaz. He graduated from Aspen High School in 1981. Jeff devoted most of his career to Stutsman-Gerbaz Earthmoving.

Jeff married Rhonda Hahn in 1983, and together they raised two daughters. Known as “Jpa” to his three grandsons, one of the greatest joys in Jeff’s life was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rhonda; his daughter, Jerilyn, and her husband, Eric, along with grandsons Benjamin, Martyn, and Walter; and his daughter Robyn and her husband, Jonathan. Jeff is also survived by his father, Jerry, his siblings, Mike, Greg, and Gina, and his father and mother in-law Richard and Dorothy.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 8th at 3:30 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church in Grand Junction. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to HopeWest in Jeff’s memory.
