Jayne Beth DeHart, 73, of Glade Park, Colorado, passed away from natural causes at St. Mary’s Hospital on the evening of Tuesday, June 23, 2026. She was born July 18, 1952, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Sheldon Eugene and Eleanor Martha Elizabeth (Snyder) Mizer.

Jayne attended Ball State University and majored inSociology. Ultimately, this inspired her to return to school at Mesa State College and earn her nursing degree. For more than 33 years loved caring for her patients until her retirement in 2024. She spent her life caring for and about others- not only as a nurse but also as a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, Aunt, friend, and pet-mom. She is dearly missed by those whose lives she touched. She loved to pray, explore the great outdoors, and called the mountains her home.

She is survived by her husband, Russell DeHart; her children, Christina Terrell of Spokane, WA, and Teresa Terrell of Grand Junction; her sisters, Janet Rolfe of Sun City, AZ, and Judy Powell of Highland, UT.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Eugene and Eleanor Mizer.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted in her honor by her church and family at Clifton Assembly of God on August 15, at 11 am.
