May 29, 1971 – July 26, 2023

Jay Harris, 52, passed away at home surrounded by love on July 26, 2023.  He was a beloved Son, Father, Soul Mate and Friend. Jay was a light that shined bright his entire life.

His enthusiasm, unforgettable smile and zest for life were unmatched. Enjoying time with his family and friends is where he found his greatest joy. His unconditional love and care for all were hallmarks to who he was.

Jay’s perfect day would be spent on a boat or a golf course with a cold drink and as many friends as could join him. The more the merrier!

Nights spent at concerts or cooking one of his specialties at home, with a glass of wine fireside in the back yard with his loved ones, is where many memories were made.

Jay’s smile was vibrant, his wit was unmatched, his love enormous.  He was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. 

Jay is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Harris.  He is survived by his father, Leroy Harris, his son Colin Harris (Chrsitina Hertfurtner), his daughter India Subers, and the love of his life, Treece C.

He radiated positivity and always encouraged those around him to do the same. Jay would want those he touched to enjoy every moment of this life, for it is a short journey.

A celebration of life is being planned for a future date, and the family will put out an announcement when arrangements are made.
