Jacqueline Elaine Blinn

Jacqueline E. Blinn, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN with family by her side.

Jacque was born October 5, 1947, in Delta, CO. to Jack and Marjorie Kissinger. She grew up in Uravan, CO and graduated from Nucla High School in 1965. Jacque went on from High School to pursue her Cosmetology career. During her time in Nucla, she had several successful businesses.

Jacque married James “Jim” Garvey on July 1, 1967. They were blessed with four children: Kimberly, Ross, Richelle and Kristin Garvey. Jacque and Jim enjoyed 31 years of marriage together before Jim’s passing in 1998. 

Jacque re-married Kenneth R. Blinn on October 3, 1999, where she gained 2 more sons, Kenny and Aaron Blinn. Jacque and Ken enjoyed 26 years of marriage before her passing.

Jacque is survived by her husband, Kenneth Blinn, children Kristin (Jacob) Mullennix, Richelle Garvey, Aaron (Cheryl) Blinn, Kenny (Alma) Blinn, siblings Neland (Kellee) Kissinger and Roxanne (Bobby) Defoe. She has 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and brother/sister in laws whom she loved and cherished.

Jacque is preceded in death by her late husband Jim Garvey, children Ross and Kimberly, parents Jack and Marjorie, amongst many other family members.

Jacque was blessed with 77 years of life, which held many highs and many lows. Her strength and courage never faltered. She will be remembered for her caring and loving nature, her kind words and bright smile, her love for the Lord and her family. To know Jacque is to know LOVE.

Graveside Services will be held on July 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. located at the Nucla Cemetery.
