Ila Lee McDonald

Ila Lee McDonald, age 93, died Tuesday, May 29, 2024 following a sudden illness.

Born July 3, 1930 in Blodgett, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Olgaritte Busch. Ila was a nurse for nearly 30 years in healthcare and adored her patients and the staff with whom she served.

Ila also enjoyed her grandchildren and her cats and loved feeding them all. She was a determined woman who showed strength and tenacity throughout her life and demonstrated great love and loyalty to her family and friends.

Ila was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Victor George McDonald, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Roland Keith (Susie) Olson, Robert Lowell (Ursula) Olson, and daughter, Lynda Lee (John) Kull as well as her grandsons, Justin Olson, Robert Kull, and Jackson Kull and great-grandson, Dylan Olson. No services will be held.
