Early afternoon on July 15, 2024 Haley Hough passed away peacefully and was surrounded by her loved ones.

Haley was a special Christmas gift, being born on December 25th, 1993, in Craig Colorado. She was born to Eric Lee Hough and Brenda Michelle Mannion. Haley grew up to be a beautiful storm, blazing through life like a wildfire. She became the oldest sister to two more girls, Cassidy Lee and Jodi Kay. From then on, the three girls were inseparable throughout her childhood. Haley and her sisters were always outside playing together, often times making up games. Usually games thought up by Haley, and then won by Haley. Her compassion for others was easily matched by her competitive nature. If there was something for Haley to win, she would refuse to fail. Early in life, some would say Haley found a piece of her soul in her greatest friend Amber. Haley and Amber were rarely seen apart, where one went you could be sure the other was sure to follow. Haley’s passions were always adventurous in nature; she loved to fish and go camping. She would spend her days riding her horse, playing with her dogs, and tending to her chickens. She loved growing a vegetable garden, and making goats milk soap. Haley never shied away from being generous. She was caring to everyone she met and would love them without judgement. Entering the healthcare field was a given for Haley, there was never a time she didn’t want to help or heal, so devoting her time to others was an easy decision for her. Haley deeply loved her children and animals most, but fishing was also one of her biggest passions. Haley was a true master at fishing, never walking away without at least one catch. Every day of Haley’s life was filled with laughter, love, and light; for she brought them all wherever she went.

Haley is preceded in death by her Grandfathers; Michael Hough, Howard Albue, and Robert Mannion.

Haley is survived by her two children; Tempest Rylee May Hough (age 5) and Jaiden Ryder Compston (age 11). Her parents; Brenda Garrett, Grand Junction CO, and Eric Hough Vernal UT. Stepfather Thomas Garrett, Grand Junction CO. Her two sisters; Cassidy Hough, Norfolk VA, and Jodi Hough, Fayetteville, NC. Haley has one niece, Easton Alcantara (Jodi) Lastly, a lifelong friend Amber Rankin, Grand Junction CO.
