Guillermo "Willie" Villarreal, 79, of Meeker, Colorado, passed away on August 27, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. To family and friends he was known as Willie. He was born on March 17, 1946, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Virginia and Manuel Villarreal. Willie grew up in Crystal City, Texas, before moving to Greeley, Colorado, in 1962. In 2020, he made his home in Meeker. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1968 and later worked as a farm laborer, school bus driver, custodian, and in other positions throughout his life.
