Gordon Morey McKelvie

Gordon Morey McKelvie Age 74, passed away on March 27, 2025 following a sudden illness.   Born July 24, 1950, he was the Son of the late Gordon and Ruby McKelvie.

Gordon graduated from Grand Junction High School and also attended Mesa State College.  

Gordon was a Union Carpenter for many years.  He loved his dog Tozer and really ALL animals.  He helped out at the animal shelter when he could.  He also enjoyed plinking and sport shooting at targets, panning for gold, canoeing and swimming.  Gordon liked to shoot the wildlife with his camera on his many outdoor treks.

Gordon loved God and country, he enjoyed intellectual conversation and helping his fellow man.

Gordon is survived by two siblings; younger Brother Brett McKelvie and little Sister Dorian McKelvie McBride.  A daughter Jessica McKelvie Mandaro and 3 beautiful Mandaro Granddaughters.
