George was called home in the early hours of the morning of August 20th, 2026 after fighting a long, hard battle with cancer. He passed surrounded by family and love, in the comfort of the home of his first wife, Linda Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. Lee and Mona Rae, as well as his siblings, Renee Turner, Gerald Lee, Tony Lee, and Kelton Lee. He is survived by his siblings, Shawna McCabe, Sherri Lee, and Randy Lee; his children, Clinton (Ginger) Lee and Marci (Damion) Gordon; his grandchildren, Tori (Nick) Lindbloom, Kain (Payton) Gordon, and Garrin Lee; and his great-grandchildren, Peyton Marie and Layne Ward.

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting George knew that he had a zest for life and delighted in sharing stories of a life full of adventure and shenanigans. He had a passion for nature photography and an incredible talent for playing guitar. He spent many years working at Montgomery Recycling, where he made many lifelong friends along the way. George will be remembered for his stories, his adventurous spirit, his love of nature, his music, and the many lives he touched along the way.
