Garrett Michael Nagy, 29, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on April 10, 2026. 

He was born on October 1, 1996, in Grand Junction.
Garrett was a dedicated truck driver for eight years and a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints. 

He was known for his strong work ethic and patriotic spirit.He enjoyed dirt biking, motorcycles, snowboarding, riding side-by-sides, camping, and CB and HAM radios. Garrett also had a love for traveling, including international trips.

Garrett is survived by his father, Gary Wayne Nagy of Grand Junction; his mother, Shauna Lynn (Phelps) Nagy of Grand Junction; and his brother, Grant Nagy of Grand Junction. He is also survived by his grandparents, Cookie and Jerry Amundson of Grand Junction; his uncle, Wesley Nagy of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts; his uncle and aunt, Philip and Katie Amundson of Grand Junction; his great-aunt, Jackie Temple of Palmer Lake, Colorado; his cousins, Emily (Mike) Blasi and their children, Harper, Declan, and Conrad, of Monument, Colorado; and his cousin, Jimmy Temple of Mesa, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harlan B. Huskey, M.D., Lena Mae (Delling) Huskey, Bart Bortles, Frank “Red” Nagy, and Arline Nagy.
