Fridie Sue Mauch

Fridie Sue Mauch, age 62, passed away on July 13, 2025, at Hopewest Hospice in Grand Junction. 

Fridie was born on November 30, 1962, in Delta, Colorado. She attended and graduated from Fruita High School. Over the years, she worked various jobs, with her final and favorite position being a florist—a role she held for many years with care and creativity. She was also a proud member of the Bowling-TGIF Gang. 

Fridie loved sports and hobbies that kept her active and connected to others. She enjoyed football, racing, wrestling, taking walks, and bowling. Known for her stubborn but fiercely loving and friendly nature, she was often described as kind, outgoing, and deeply dedicated to her family and loved by many. She always helped when she could. 

Fridie is survived by her beloved Dave; Her son Destry (Jackie Morford), Alvin, Orville, Vernon, Francis, Wanda, Tammie, and Caden. Also, by many loving family members, including numerous nephews and nieces, as well as countless friends and extended relatives who were touched by her warmth and generosity. 

A memorial service will be held on August 1st at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2970 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81504.
