Ernest Rolondo Valencia passed away at the age of 56 on 6/13/26 with his family surrounding him following a diagnosis of cancer and failed treatment.
Born 8/30/69, he was the son of Jose Ernest Valencia and Juanita Lydia Valencia of Fruita, Colorado.Ernest graduated from Emanuel Christian Academy as Valedictorian, where he also worked to keep their bus running.

Ernest worked many jobs. He worked at Munchies, the City of Grand Junction in forestry, lawn care, sanitation, caretaker of Orchard Mesa Cemetery, and supervisor of Canyon View Park, as well as many other side quests.

Ernest was a member of Living Water Baptist Church in Fruita, Colorado.He enjoyed his grandkids, fishing, camping, hunting, and fixing things. He was a jokester who loved to make people laugh.

He was a hard worker, and if anyone needed help he would drop what he was doing and show up. He loved his family. He was the last one to eat to make sure everyone had enough. He had some flaws like we all do, but professed faith in Jesus. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Ernest was preceded in death by; Grandson, Killian Rickards and Grandparents, Blendinga & Manual Montoya.

Ernest was survived by; Wife, Regina Valencia, John Valencia (Skyler Valencia), Kaleb Valencia (Anna Valencia), Sharaya Valencia, Chrislyn Valencia (Mathew Pere), Kendra Valencia (Adam Birr), Amber Valencia, Cynthia Arredondo (Antonio), and Candice Valencia. Grand Children; Laneyya, Diego, Avah, Aiden, Isaiah, Paige, Anuiz, Alexander, Julian, Yovonnie, Antonio Jr., Emiliana, Francisco, and Andres. Brother; Tim Valencia and Sisters; Amy Lofsteadt and Sarah Valencia.

A Memorial Service will be held 6/30/26 at 4pm at The Living Water Baptist Church,1822 J 3/10 RD, Fruita, Colorado.
