Era Louise Caviness Johnston

Louise was born in Uravan CO—now a ghost town! on June 25, 1957, to Louis Caviness and Daisy Mestler. She was the youngest of ten children—Patti, Lee, Teddi, Coral, Russ, Thelma, Bill, Danny, and Terry. She grew up in Grand Junction and it was there that she met the love of her life Jack (John) Johnston. They were married on April 4, 1981 and began their life together.

Louise spent most of her life in Western Colorado and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time rollerblading, snowboarding, and boating on Lake Powell with her husband and friends. She had a wicked sense of humor and was a wonderful artist who loved sharing her work with friends and family. She will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her husband Jack, brother Terry Caviness (Sandy) in Arizona, sister Patti Urch (Arizona) and numerous nieces and nephews.
