In Loving Memory of Emilyo Ramon Ramirez “Boo Boo” May 28, 1997 – July 11, 2025 

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Emilyo Ramon Ramirez, affectionately known as “Boo Boo,” on July 11, 2025, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He was just 28 years old. 

Emilyo was born on May 28, 1997, in Delta, Colorado, and lived most of his life in Grand Junction, where he brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him. A dedicated worker, Emilyo was employed at Great Western Buildings as a machine operator and held his Asbestos Abatement Supervisor Certification. He was also training to become a welder—a reflection of his strong work ethic, ambition, and care for others. He had a deep love for music, origami, and movies, and was a proud and passionate Dallas Cowboys fan. But above all, Emilyo loved his family. His presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering, and he had a unique way of making everyone feel seen and loved. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Dawn Michelle Ortiz, father Ramon Rafael Ramirez, sister Merrycca Angelica Lazcano, and niece Alaynah. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Josefina Stephine Ramirez, nieces Izabella and Zendeya, and nephew Robert Jr. Emilyo leaves behind six bonus brothers and sisters and a host of 23 cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfathers, Benjamin Ortiz, Rafal Ramirez Carrillo and his grandmother Josefina Vera Perez. 

Emilyo's life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
