Edwin Gary Reese

Edwin Gary Reese, age 42, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away August 19,2025 at his home. Edwin was born on June 29, 1983. He joined the Army in 2004 and served two tours in Iraq.

He worked as a CNA for many years and then found his passion for truck driving. He loved gaming and playing Dungeons and Dragons on Sundays with his friends.

Survivors include his parents Leonard Woodside and Bill and Bonnie Gibson; siblings Clayton (Kristen) Woodside, Becky (Aaron Ingram) Woodside, Adam (Kim) Gibson, Abe (Kerry) Gibson, Nathan (Kim) Gibson, Dollie (Jesse) Vogler. Numerous nieces and nephews: Clayton Jr, Brantley, Elizabeth, Jesse, Fallon, Lorelei, Amelia, Audrey, Emerson, Liam, Rosalee, Charlotte, Luke, and Baby Vogler on the way. His aunts Dawn Reese and Rose Headley. One uncle Charlie (Gina) Woodside. Numerous cousins and his best friend Calder Harris.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dale (Alberta) Woodside and Steve Reese. One uncle; Ted Headley.

A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Okawville, IL on November 29, 2025 at 4 p.m.
