Edward Russell

Edward Cameron Russell passed away on January 10, 2020, one day after his sixty-ninth birthday. Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was raised as an Army brat, living in Massachusetts, Kansas, North Carolina, Finland, and Panama before settling in Falls Church, Virginia, where he attended Stuart High School.

After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University, Ed settled in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where he went to work for the Edna Coal Mine Company in Oak Creek. He later moved to Hayden, Colorado where he worked for eighteen years with Routt County Roads and Bridges as a heavy equipment operator.

He will be remembered as a passionate motorcyclist and race car driver.

Ed is survived by his sister, Laurie Russell, brother-in-law Ray Allen, and two nieces, Ruby and Rose of Brooklyn, NY.
