Edward Leonard Pease (September 23, 1943 – September 9, 2025)

Edward Leonard Pease went to be with the Lord peacefully and surrounded by his immediate family on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 81 in Grand Junction, Colorado after a brief illness.

Edward is survived by his wife, Priscilla Thornton Pease; daughters Deborah Pease Kalivoda (James) and Karen Pease Davie (Keith); and grandchildren Nathaniel Davie, Anna Kalivoda Lavrinovich (Vladimir), Ethan Davie, Alex Kalivoda, and Matthew Davie.

Edward was predeceased by his father Leonard Pease, mother Anna Beckwith Pease, and stepmother Adelaide Pease.

Edward’s life modeled consistency and faithfulness. He worked for IBM for over 40 years as a process engineer. Edward was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church for over 65 years. Born in Binghamton, New York, he lived in the village of Port Dickinson his entire life, and in the same house for 58 years with his wife of 60 years.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. He ran over 15 marathons until age 50. He loved riding his bike, working at his Christmas tree farm, hunting in Colorado with dear friends, and spending time with his family. Ed prioritized family vacations and a cruise to Alaska with children and grandchildren for their 50th wedding anniversary was a treasured memory.

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, there will be visiting hours at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM at Main Street Baptist Church, 117 Main St, Binghamton, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Main Street Baptist Church.
