Diana Gauchat

Diana Katherine Gauchat, age 73, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 19th, 2022, at 9:13 A.M. MST, following a sudden illness.

She was born in Salida, Colorado on March 24th, 1949.  She was daughter to the late Joseph B. Martinez and Viola C. Martinez (Maestes).  Diana was a member of the 1968 graduating class of Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, California.  She worked as a processor at Drewery Photography, a Kodak company, as well as a beloved local bartender in the San Fernando Valley, and bookkeeper for multiple companies, all while taking care of her family.

In her life, she enjoyed being a street racer, playing billiards, shooting skeet, a lover of music, reading, crocheting, and above all else being a Mother & Grandmother.

Diana was loving, funny, a friend to all, and not only a hard worker who always made sure to provide for her children, but also dedicated to her friends and family both.  Diana was survived by John St. Angelo (son), Tiana St. Angelo (daughter), Lisa St. Angelo (daughter), Sharon Wright (sister), Benjamin J. Martinez (brother), her grandchildren, Crystal Martinez, Natlie Gaitan, and Marco Guillen, and great grandchildren, Valerie, Shiloh, Samson, Ruby, and Solomon Martinez, Audrianna and Priscilla Gaitan.

A celebration of life will be held at Brown's Funeral Home on Friday, October 28th, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Please consider a memorial contribution in Diana K. Gauchat's name to HopeWest Hospice.
