Denis Aloysius Cox

Denis Aloysius Cox, 64, died suddenly February 22, 2025 due to a hemorrhagic stroke at his home in Lake City, CO.

Denis was a graduate of JH Rose High School in Greenville, NC, where he was born & raised. He proudly served our country after high school in the Army. He became a jack of all trades, starting as a welder in the family owned & operated welding business in Greenville, NC. He spent time in Texas & New Mexico before settling in Colorado. He will be missed by his family & all who knew him.

Denis is preceded in death by his partner, Debra Ramundo; parents, Edgar & Natalie Cox; sister, Mary Frances Cox; brother-in-law, Bill Beaulieu; and niece, Stephanie Beaulieu.

Denis is survived by son, Travis Salas Cox; sisters, Helen Mary Uebler (Bob), Annie Beaulieu, Rosie Jackson (Bobby), Patsy Gouras (Bobby), Denise Cox, and Mary Joanne Driscoll (Scott); brothers, Edgar Cox Jr, Owen Cox, and Liam Cox (Janette); 18 nieces & nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
