David LeeEngle Erickson age 49, went to be with Jesus on July 17, 2023, peacefully in his sleep at his home in Fruita, Colorado after battling a recent illness that affected his heart and lungs.

David was born in Concord, California December 31, 1973, to father Lee and mother Margaret (Mason) Erickson of Henderson, Nevada.

David received his Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, working as a scrub technician in many hospitals, but his true love was his profession as a Sergeant First Class in the US Army. He was a member of the Army for 30 years to the date of his death. He received multiple accommodations, metals, and honors throughout his career in the military. He also enjoyed his job working at the United States Postal Service for the last few years.

David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking, especially with his boys Anghus and Braysen who were the joy of his life. He was friendly and loved to joke with family and friends.  He was a dedicated father and brother. Always wanting to  provide the best for his children.

David was preceded in death by: Father Lee Erickson

David was survived by:  Sons Anghus and Braysen Erickson, Mother Margaret Erickson, Sister Paulette (Kevin) Erickson , Sister Sonia (Dan) Earls, ex-wife and friend Sarah Erickson

and many nieces and nephews.
