Darrel has escaped from the confines of his physical body. He faced off with his adversities battle by battle and day by day for forty-six years. He made a strong man's stand.

He is believed to be in the company of those who preceded his escape, Ezekiel Gordon, David McDonald, Gertrude Hetzel, McKenna McDonald, Tanae Marsh, Carl Cortez and Jim Buhler.

Has been seen riding his horse Harley with his ever-faithful dogs Daisy and Cody by his side.

Darrell presence may be likely felt in the Grand Valley area, near Lake City Colorado area or during family and friends gathering. Expressions of his presence may be felt in sightings of bear, elk, bucks, flying hawks, on snow covered hillsides, and rose gardens. Also, songs of Ledoux, Bonamassa, Krauss and Bon Jovi music may be a vessel of communication. Known to be armed with infectious smile, kindness, and firing off a round or two of endearing terms with notes of sarcasm.

Those closest to him are Dan and LaDonna Salamun, Adam and Stephanie Bogart, Ashley Garrick, Levi Garrick, and Cassidy Powell. Many missing him are aunts, uncles' cousins, and extended family, and friends.
