In Loving Memory of Cynthia "Ann" Jones

 Cynthia "Ann" Jones, age 72, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away peacefully at her home on May 11, 2026. Ann was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her sister, Veda Christine Black; her children, Jennifer Elliott, Michael Elliott (spouse Colleen Elliott), and Margaret Herrera (spouse Robbie Herrera); and her grandchildren, William Hubbard, Jake Herrera, Destiny Bobbitt, Evit Elliott, Caleb Herrera, Lucas Herrera, Selena Elliott, and Alyssa Elliott. Ann is also survived by three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her son, Justin Jones, and her mother, Rubie Ramey. For over 40 years, Ann dedicated her career to Student Transportation of America, beginning as a school bus driver and later serving as a dispatcher. She was known for her infectious laugh and had a remarkable ability to light up every room she entered. In memory of Ann, the family would like to share a quote that resonated with them:
