Corrine Emma Corbin

October 27, 1939 — June 24, 2023

Corrine Emma Corbin went to be with our Lord on June 24, 2023. She is survived by her two brothers and one sister, three daughters, Dani, Denise, Charlie, five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren, and Phoebe who was her support animal till the end. She served in the U.S. Navy and the Naval Reserves for a little less than 20 years. She had numerous hobbies, too many to mention here. Her biggest jobs besides the Navy were working at Hanford in Washington and Rocky Flats here in Colorado.

The last 3 years of her life she was receiving home health care services for her medical condition she incurred while working in the Navy and the nuclear sites listed above. Her awesome case managers and wonderful nurses were there to help her with her daily needs. These folks became a second family for all of us. Mom chatted them up with old stories from the Navy and all of the places we had been to, and talked them into playing Yahtzee on a regular basis. She was taken care of and well entertained by this wonderful group of people which made her last days more comfortable and dignified. And for that my sisters and I give great thanks.

Services will be held August 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2890 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
