Corban Samuel Hunter, 23, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 21st 2023 in Fukuoka, Japan where he was residing as a student.

Corban was born July 6th 2000, to Ryan and BethAnne Hunter of Grand Junction, CO. He was the oldest of 5 children. Corban grew up in Grand Junction, CO. He was a student of Mesa Valley Community School as well as Western Colorado Community College (where he studied Digital Design and S.T.E.M. For 3 years during highschool). He graduated in 2019. After highschool, Corban worked for Colorado Printing Company followed by City Market in Fruita, CO. In April of 2022 Corban fulfilled a dream and moved to Japan, a country he loved and admired. He studied Japanese at Nils Japan language school in Fukuoka for 15 months before his passing. He also worked as a part-time produce clerk at a grocery store within walking distance of his dormitory. In his spare time he enjoyed exploring the various areas of Japan by visiting gardens, parks, temples and malls. He was fascinated by the Japanese culture and happily immersed himself in it.

Anyone who knew Corban knew of his love for LEGO. Going strong since childhood, Corban's collection grew to over 1,000 sets! He enjoyed making creative photography out of LEGO and sharing his work on his various social media pages. He was amazing at it! Corban's other hobbies included; Anime (he was the leader of an Anime club at his school in Japan), art, card games, baseball, reading, and music (he played the piano and ukulele and loved listening to a wide variety of music). Corban expressed himself through creativity and was quite talented. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

Corban is proceeded in death by his grandmother, Betty Otero Green and his two aunts; Cindy Green Alexander and Tiffany Green. He is survived by his parents; Ryan and BethAnne Hunter of Fruita, CO; his siblings: Isabel, Ezra, Jude, and Nathaniel Hunter of Fruita, CO. He is also survived by his grandparents; Eugene Green of Grand Junction, CO, David and Florence Hunter of Napavine,WA and his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
