Clarence was born in Glasco, KS to Harold and Bertha Simpson. He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Phyllis (Beal) Simpson; three sons, Alan (Lori), Ron (Becky), Brian (Rondelle); Grandchildren, Alan Jr (AJ), Jon, Zach, Lucy, Alex, Dillion, Rani and two great grand daughters Emma and Lena; three sisters, Fern Childress, Bertha Crites, Serene Pence and was predeceased by his sister Anita Johnson.
Clarence was a devoted Christian, always ready to help others any way possible. He worked with his wife and three sons at their family-owned business Simpson Auto for over 40 years, always desiring to treat everyone with respect. When purchasing a vehicle, part of the negotiation might include a “homemade cherry pie” from the customer. It was surprising how many he received.
