Cheryl Elaine Roberts

Cheryl Elaine Roberts, born on June 12, 1954, gracefully left this world on January 22, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of the late Ruby and Jay C Holbrook, and the sister to the departed Gary Wayne Holbrook. Cheryl is survived by her loving daughter, Candice Nicole Downing, and granddaughter, Mila Rose Downing.

Cheryl's heart held a special place for horses and children, embodying a generosity that touched the lives of those around her. Her enduring grace, evident in her beautiful smile and feminine style, reflected an innate innocence. Always adorned in dresses and jewelry, Cheryl's love for elegance was a testament to her refined taste.

A proud alumna of Northeastern State University, Cheryl earned a master's degree in Psychology, showcasing her dedication to knowledge and understanding. Her move from Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Grand Junction, Colorado in the 1980s marked a new chapter in her life.

A faithful Christian, Cheryl's spirituality guided her actions, and her love for her family knew no bounds. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of the divine.

Services will be held at 2:00pm February 10th, 2024 at First Baptist Church 103 W 5th St, Palisade, CO 81526.
