Carol Fay Braun (August 25th, 1970 - December 4th, 2024) was born in Worland, Wyoming and never found a place more lovely. She moved a lot in her life: Colorado, Georgia, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, and Washington. None compared and she often spoke fondly of her time growing up in the cabin, seeing the snow, and learning about the wilderness from her dad, Eddie Fay Storer, who precedes her in death (March 10, 1945 - October 2, 2013).

She loved rainy days, the color pink, the Fame soundtrack, and her children.

She had wanted to travel, own a home, and see all her kids with partners and careers. While these things didn't happen as they should, she experienced joy as often as she could find it. She had beautiful nails and the best smile. She laughed and loved hard, and the world is bleaker without both.

Her life was too short and exceptionally difficult. She was sick for a long time and faced it with humor and determination. She treated her time at dialysis as an opportunity to finally catch up on the shows her three youngest daughters disliked.

She wasn't afraid of much—probably just leaving her kids.

Her loved ones are thankful for the countless medical professionals who made her life easier during the time she was with us. She is survived by her children: Casey Allen Braun (CO), Corby Fay Storer (Kelsey) (MT), Clara Lynn Braun (John) (MN), and the lights of her life, Kellie Angelina Braun, Abbie Lynn Braun, and Lexi Angelina Braun, all of Colorado; her mother, Lynn Paris Storer, sisters, Julie Storer, Joanna Andronescu (Andre) (all of Seattle, WA), brother, Jim Storer (Maggie) of Wyoming, and Jeanette Boyers (Jason) (MN); many nieces and nephews, and her cat, Lucifer.

We miss her.
