Carl Eldon Alcon

February 11, 1963 — February 25, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Carl Alcon, who left us on February 25, 2024. He was 61 years old. Carlos, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on February 11, 1963 to Eloy M. Alcon and Mary Louisa Gonzales in Durango Colorado. May he rejoice in the heavens with our Lord, Our Heavenly Father has called him home.

Carl was baptized at Sacred Heart Church in Durango, Colorado. And was a member of Sacred heart catechism religious program.

Carl attended schools in Durango and Grand Junction as he claimed both cities as home.

Carl enjoyed his friends and family often fishing and swimming at lakes, Rivers and canals.

Carl enjoyed Motorcycling and working on his race bikes, he often worked on Bicycles and was always riding around the city on his bike(s).

Carl liked hanging out with his friends and listening to music. Carl also enjoyed music concerts.

Carl was very humorous to his family, often teasing his Nieces and Nephews giving them silly nicknames.

Carl worked as a construction labor, HVAC, Plumbing at various jobs in Grand Junction.

Carl was preceded in death by his father Eloy M Alcon and mother Mary Louise Gonzales;

Carl was preceded in death by his Son Joseph Alcon Williams and Sister-in-law {Janet Alcon}

Carl was preceded in death by many uncles and aunts and cousins.

Carl was survived by his Siblings; Brothers Tony Alcon {Sherri}, Eloy Alcon Jr., Sister, Virginia Haag [Erik}, Brother Joe Alcon all of Grand Junction, Co. and Brother Gary Alcon of Virginia Beach, Va.

Carl was also survived by his uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces and many cousins.

Rosary Service will be Friday, July 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm at Sacred Heart Parish in Durango, Co. and Mass service Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Parish in Durango, Co.  Burial service will be at Green Mount Cemetery in Durango following the Mass Church service in Durango. CO.
