C. Gary Scott

Gary was born in Grand Junction Colorado April 16, 1939 to Charles & Marvel Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dennis Scott, Sister, Norma Cozzette and Nephew, Daniel Scott.

Gary served in the Navy from 1957-1961. He married Diana Avery on July 2, 1971. He retired from AT&T as a communications technician. After retirement he worked as a security officer for St Mary's Hospital for 17 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diana (Avery) Scott, daughter, Darcy Brown (Jeff) and grandchildren: Jenna Bittle (Skyler), Casey Nourse (Jax), Ashlyn Martin (Christopher), Christa Brown, Jarett Brown (Taylor), 7 Great Grandchildren and nieces, Kim Cozzette, Kelly Cozzette, Linda Robinson and Karen Scott.

Family requests that no flowers be brought to his service but instead a donation to hospice in his name. There is a Link below to Hopewest Hospice.
