Billy Joe Tidwell

Billy J. Tidwell 91 died on December 27, 2924 after a long illness.

Born 11/6/33in Bascom, Florida, he was the son of the late Alton B. and Maggie Tidwell

Bill attended Marianna High School and Chipola Jr. College in Marianna, Florida.

He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard. Bill was a self employed construction superintendent and worked on many major construction projects both in Colorado, Arkansas and Texas for most of his career.

Bill was a member of the Patterson Road Church of Christ in Grand Junction, Colorado

His hobbies and passions were hunting, camping and fishing.

He was a friendly, gentle guy with a tough exterior but respected and loved. He was extremely devoted to his family. Being in the construction business, he was a “no nonsense” tough supervisor and always hard working..

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Alton & Maggie Tidwell and Son, Scott.

He is survived by wife, Jimmye, Son Greg, Daughter Allison, Son Kevin, Grandchildren, Sutton & Candence Gettys of Grass Valley CA and Eric & Keila Arnaud of Reno NV, Natassia Anders of Memphis, TN, Melanie Anders of Ft. Worth, TX and 4 great grandchildren
