Alvin Ellis Hope Sr.

Alvin Ellis Hope Sr. Was born on October 8, 1947 in Mcalister, Oklahoma to Hugh E. Hope and Ruth Hope. He was a graduate of Arvin High School in Arvin, California and a longtime resident of Bakersfield, California until His move to Grand Junction to be near his grandchildren after his son AJ’s passing, Alvin is a Veteran of the Vietnam war and served time stateside at Dugway proving ground. He worked several jobs throughout his life but the one that brought him the most joy was being a Cowboy and working with cattle. He loved spending his free time with his friends at Joy’s, branding cattle and spending quality time at the Ancient Echo Ranch. There was a lifetime of laughter and memories on that mountain. Alvin is preceded in death by his parents Hugh E. Hope & Ruth Hope . Sister Barbara Tolar and son Alvin Hope Jr. He is survived by his Sister Mary Flores , Grandchildren Paige Hope & Ryan Hope. Daughter in Law Crystal Hope . Many nieces, nephews and loving friends . Ride free in Heaven cowboy chasing cattle with your boy.
