He was a father figure, and my mentor. Mostly he was my friend. I'll always remember our conversations. My heart goes out to you all. ~Rick.

When I heard of Michael's passing, it hurt much deeper than I would have expected. We had not spoken in over a year, and my last words to him were in anger, which I now deeply regret. If I could take it all back, I would. I guess I figured I would have time to make amends some day. I did not make it right, though, and now I never can. I will always remember the great times I had with Michael, whether it was speeding along at 200+ mph between Baker and Pahrump, or having (too many) drinks in Times Square, or just sitting in the airport listening to the story of his college days and him sharing his philosophy of "No Limits." Michael was a bright and shining soul and the world is a darker place without him in it. I am a better person today for having known him. I feel regret, shame and sadness for the way I treated him after I left the company, all of it over petty, stupid things that in retrospect now seem totally insignificant. My deepest condolences to his family. I hope that you can someday forgive me for my juvenile mistakes, and please know that I share in your loss. I'm so very sorry.

Michael will long be remembered as a friendly, charismatic man with an enthusiasm and love for the sport of racing. Michael and his beautiful wife Virginia were partners in racing and it was truly beautiful to witness the devotion they had to one another. Whenever I saw Michael he always had a big smile on his face and a fun racing story to tell. He will be missed tremendously by his fellow racers at Club Spring Mountain, where he was a valued member for many years. It won't be the same at the Club without him, and our hearts go out to his wonderful family. May they find peace and comfort in the beautiful memories created during his lifetime. He was taken from us too soon, but I know he is watching over his loved ones standing proudly on the top pedestal of the podium in heaven. Love to Virginia and the family, Jerra

I am shocked to hear of Mike's passing as I read the CSM Newsletter. Mike was a fantastic person, and always had a smile on his face. I saw him as a very generous and gracious man whenever we visited him in Pahrump. Today, My prayers are with his wife and family.

It was quite a shock to hear of Michael's passing. Although we never had the opportunity to be very close friends we got to be racing buddies with great respect for each other on the track. I still have an in-car video of one of the most enjoyable race-long dices that I've ever had. Even though I could catch him I could not pass him. That race established a friendship that renewed each time we met again at the track.

What a shock! I just read about Michael's passing. Michael and Virginia, what a great couple. Michael was the first person to help me on the track. I will always remember what a good guy he was. RIP Michael.

Dear Virginia, my wife Suki and I extend our deepest sympathy.
I only met Michael a few times in my 10 years of membership but was always taken with his passion for life and motorsports.
He was a fine racer and a true gentleman off and on track. He will be missed by all of us. Our prayers are with your family and you.

Dear Family and Friends of Michael William,

I am sincerely sorry for your loss of your loved one. He sounds like he was a wonderful, fun loving, man. I am writing with the hope of imparting comfort through the scriptures, for God promises us that there is going to be a resurrection through Christ Jesus. He demonstrated that he was given the power to do this when he resurrected his friend Lazaras and others, when he was on the earth. What a grand reunion you can look forward to being reunited with Bruce on a Paradise Earth when the wicked are gone. Psalms 37:9,10,11 and suffering, sorrow and death will be gone forever. Rev. 21: 3, 4 Until then, you can cherish the memories and thank God for fulfilling his promises. God Speed . . .
